Carbonized Fiber Packing

The packing is braided from anti-shrinkage pre-oxygen polyacrylonitrile fiber, and impregnated with PTFE emulsion
containing graphite particles. Compared with traditional carbon fiber packing, it is not brittle, and suitable for high line
speed applications.
With the high strength and good thermal conductivity of the pre-oxygen fiber, and excellent lubrication of PTFE and
graphite, the packing does not damage shafts, and is capable of long-term use.

PA1500G Carbonized fiber packing with graphite

Braided from pre-oxygen polyacrylonitrile fiber and impregnated with PTFE emulsion containing graphite particles.

PA1500R Reinforced carbonized fiber packing

The packing is reinforced with nickel wire which increases mechanical strength. Usually used in static sealing applications.

Applications:

They can be used in weak acids and alkalis or mediums containing few solid particles, suitable for both dynamic and static
sealing applications. Mainly used in centrifugal pumps, plunger pumps, mixers, agitators and valves. Particularly ideal for
use in hot water, condensate and primary coolant pumps.

Forms of Supply:



In coils, e.g. 5kgs or 10kgs per coil;
As packing rings (PR1500, PR1500G, PR1500R).
